CPP in the Netherlands

CPP is an innovative psychotherapeutic modality, yet fairly unknown in the Netherlands. It was developed in the United Kingdom, where it is a professionally recognized branch of psychotherapy. It integrates western psychological theory and psychotherapeutic practice with Buddhist sources and mindfulness practice. Core Process psychotherapists are trained at the Karuna Institute in Devon, England.

In the United Kingdom, Core Process qualified psychotherapists are registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
