Procedure and contact
Initial contact is usually by e-mail or telephone. We will typically schedule an initial face to face appointment of no more than an hour. This is intended for us to get to know each other. I will explain something of the way I work with clients and answer any questions you may have. You may tell me a little of your story and what brings you to therapy. In this way, you will have a sense of what it would be like to work with me and whether it feels right for you.
After the initial appointment, we both take a few days to decide whether we would, in principle, like to work together. If we decide to go ahead, I typically offer an initial period of six weeks. At this point we will review how the relationship is developing and agree whether we want to continue. In Core Process psychotherapy, the client and therapist see each other weekly. Sessions usually last an hour.
This engagement process is caring and non-judgmental. This planned beginning is essential to ensure clarity, safety and a developing sense of trust.
Tariff and reimbursement
My tariff is € 85,- per hour.
The initial appointment is € 35,-.
The health insurer reimburses our care as alternative (psychosocial) care.
My practise is located in Mierlo (near Eindhoven).
It is easily accessible by public transport. There is plenty of parking in the vicinity.
